Microsoft couple of days ago released a new build 17666 for Windows Server 2019. The latest preview build is part of the Redstone 5 development branch and comes with many new features along with known issues which are part of every preview build. The new preview build comes with the performance history of Storage Space Direct and options to delimit volume allocation. The build also includes VHDX archive which can be downloaded in English. The latest Windows Server 2019 preview can be downloaded as an ISO image in 18 different languages. The company has also provided two keys which allow unlimited activations for the Insiders. As is expected from a preview build, it comes with some known issues apart from the new features. The known issues include issues with the Active Directory Domain Controllers which might not be upgraded correctly after installing the preview build. As a precaution, Microsoft requests users to first back up any Active Directory Domain Controllers before starting to download the new preview build.
